NNPGs Convener urges FNR to  be a keeper of Naga conscience

DIMAPUR, JULY 21 (MExN): Convener of the WC, NNPGs AND Ato Kilonser of the GPRN/NSCN, N Kitovi Zhimomi today issued a statement today congratulating the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) on attaining 15 years and asked it to “remain a moral and spiritual force, a keeper of Naga conscience, stand eyeball to eyeball to all creatures, big or small, in the Naga Ark.”

Touching on how the FNR created a space for Naga groups to come together, Zhimomi “we must also introspect, turn the pages and see why we, as witnesses and signatories of a number of declarations, reneged on our promises and failed our people many times.” Zhimomi meanwhile questioned what he termed as the “non-transparent protocol” of the Framework Agreement, and said that if the FNR has “a comprehensive post-solution political and administrative blueprint of FA,” it must be declared to the Naga people for deliberation and general acceptance. He added that “perhaps it is also a time for FNR and all Naga intellectuals to take a closer look if it is really the GOI which is delaying the Naga political solution or others toying with the people's sentiment.”
