The 77th General Conference of the Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU) held under the theme “Breaking Barriers, Shaping the Future” at Losami village concluded today.
Gracing the valedictory session, Nagaland CAWD and Taxes Advisor, Kudecho Khamo said, “Respect our tribe and bring good name to our tribe.” Stating that Chakhesang are the “most blessed people,” he called upon the students to keep praising God for “His love upon us.”
Stating there is lot of competition in this techno world he said, “To become someone in this techno world, you should have a clear vision.” He said, “We may have degree but without competency there is scope.”
The Advisor urged the students to work hard and stay focus to their goals with seriousness. “There is no room for backdoor appointment in the present government. So hard work is the only way to get a job in the government sector,” he said.
He also urged the students not to become a liability to the society but to become an asset to the society. “Dream big and work for it so that even if you don't reach the top you'll land somewhere,” Khamo said.
Luikang Luckson, President ANSAM, Khriesamhalie David Mere, President Angami Students’ Union and Zhonelü Tünyi, President Chakhesang Mothers' Association also shared greetings. Act of blessing was pronounced by Rev Fr KC James, Parish Priest, St Mary's Catholic Church Lozaphuhu.
The session was chaired by CSU Tribunal Secretary Lavoto Chizo while vote of thanks was proposed by CSU vice president Visapa Movi.
