Noklak DC urges citizens to maintain COVID appropriate behavior

Noklak, September 18 (MExN): In view of the upcoming festive season, Noklak Deputy Commissioner (DC) Hiazu Meru has requested citizens to maintain COVID-19 appropriate behaviour in all the functions and programmes.

According to a DIPR report, the Noklak District Task Force (DTF) on COVID-19 held a meeting on September 18 at DC Conference Hall, Noklak.

Chairing the meeting, the DC stressed on vaccination as the only way to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic, and encouraged vaccination. Even though the district does not have proper medical facilities, we should continue our efforts to vaccinate more people so that somehow we can avert the worst case scenario, the DC stated.

The DC further highlighted the latest SOPs, guidelines and procedures of the government.

He expressed sincere appreciation to all the frontline workers and officers of the district for their effort in controlling the spread of COVID-19 in the district.

During the meeting, the house also discussed in detail, issues relating to the COVID-19 care center, COVID-19 check gate, taxi service, COVID-19 hospital and opening of schools as per the government guidelines.
