Norman Putsure College observes Literary Day 2026

Cosplay, drama and music take centre stage 

Chümoukedima, February 16 (MExN): The Literature Club of Norman Putsure College organised a Literary Day 2026 on February 16 at the College Auditorium, under the theme “Through the Looking Glass.”

The event celebrated creativity, imagination, and literary excellence among the students. The highlight of the event was a series of vibrant competitions featuring enthusiastic participation from various departments.

The Literary Cosplay competition opened the stage events where students from each department creatively portrayed literary characters, impressing the audience with their expressive performances and attention to detail. 

The drama competition followed with dramatic performances showcasing strong storytelling, teamwork and stagecraft reflecting the students’ deep engagement with literary themes. 

Adding a musical touch to the event, melodious performances were also presented by the students, and the program concluded with the declaration of results, followed by a vote of thanks.

Literary Day 2026 proved to be a meaningful platform for students to express their artistic talents, strengthen inter-departmental camaraderie, and celebrating the transformative power of literature.

The event stood as a testament to Norman Putsure College’s commitment to nurturing creativity, critical thinking, and cultural appreciation among its students.
