North East Confluence 22 Art Camp concludes

Dimapur, March 5 (MExN): The five-day North East Confluence 22 Art Camp at the North East Zone Cultural Center, Dimapur concluded with Deputy Commissioner Chümoukedima, Abhinav Shivam IAS, as the special guest on March 5. 

The special guest lauded the artists for expressing amazing stories/messages through their art works, which was put up on display, a DIPR report stated. He patiently had a look at all the paintings and listened to the stories of all artists who came from Sikkim, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Tripura, Mizoram, Manipur and different districts of Nagaland.

DC Chümoukedima advised the artists for taking advantage of social media for promoting art and offered to render help if they wish to create a specific website. “Let us develop a community which is not totally dependent on Government system,” he exhorted.

The Art Camp was organised by NEZCC Dimapur, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, in collaboration with Neul Naga Foundation for Arts, Dimapur and supported by Bosco B.Ed College, Dimapur.
