Northeast CSO Network Meet 2022 concludes

Northeast CSO Network Meet 2022 organized by Quest Alliance in Kohima and Kisama was held on December 6 and 7.

Kohima, December 9 (MExN): YouthNet hosted the Northeast CSO Network Meet 2022, a first of its kind collaborative that brought together 16 CSOs from across the Northeast on a single platform to address key challenges and push for policy action and reform. 

The two-day meet was organized by Quest Alliance in Kohima and Kisama on December 6 and 7. The meet culminated with the Green Innovation Award with Reny Wilfred (IAS) Joint Secretary, Investment & Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) as the special guest, stated a press release. 

Under Innovations, the CSOs identified five Innovators in the Northeast spearheading ‘Green Innovation’ which focused on driving sustainable development ranging from Green Entrepreneurs working in areas of waste management, sustainable food production, to freelance creators documenting the environmental challenges.

The winners of the Green Innovation Award 2022 includes: Thejaviko Chase, Peihauding, Nguire and Paul Lokho, ProRural from Nagaland; Vivian Pajuh, Grassroots (Shillong) and LP Albert, Amyaa (Arunachal Pradesh). 

The NE CSO Meet envisaged to platform and share the learning and key activities to a larger audience with an objective to further disseminate the discourse by the CSO network by creating an interest amongst the participants apart from the members of the CSO who worked on three key thematic areas- innovation, capacity building & research and advocacy.
