A stray dog searches for food in a garbage pile at Sangtemla Ward, near the traffic point in Mokokchung Town. Few years back garbage pollution was not very visible in Mokokchung Town. However, judging from this photograph, one can make out that waste is being randomly dumped even in the middle of the town. Nonetheless, before garbage becomes a worried problem with no easy or cheap solution, citizens of Mokokchung can start working on recycling, Safe Waste Management and most importantly generating ecological soundness.
