Kohima, December 19 (DIPR): Food Safety Commissioner& Commissioner and Secretary, Sentiyanger has notified the Food Safety Officer as the registering Authority for registration of Food Business Operators (FBO) falling under the registration category in the state with immediate effect. In another order, the Commissioner notified that the registration or License granted to the FBO shall be a period for 2 (Two) years. The Commissioner further notified that the employees/workers under FBOs viz, Restaurant/Hotels/Fast Food Services centers should obtain medical fitness certificate from authorized government Medical Officers, however the FBOs dealing with the items of scientifically packed/sterilized food are exempted.
