Dimapur, December 21 (MExN): The Naga People's Front, 1 Dimapur-I Assembly Constituency celebrated the advent Christmas on December 21 at the NPF Dimapur Division office premises.
K. Khekaho Assumi, former Parliamentary Secretary, Youth Resources and Sports, government of Nagaland graced the occasion as special guest. He encouraged the NPF workers that the party will grow from strength to strength as long as all NPF party men and women remain together.
Khekaho made a clarion call to the workers to start preparing for the 2019 parliamentary elections stating "let us be the trend setters and lead by practical example to others". Also speaking on the occasion, T. Lotha, General Secretary, NPF Central office bearer shared the essence of advent Christmas adding that it is a time to share love and forgive one another, a press release from NPF Youth Wing, Dimapur Division informed.
Other frontal office bearers at the division level also spoke and greeted the party workers. Ihovi Zhimomi, president, NPF 1 Dimapur-I A/C chaired the program while working President, Avito Swu proposed vote of thanks. Several central, divisional and frontal office bearers attend the celebration.
