DIMAPUR, APRIL 27 (MExN): The NPF today said “it is imperative to clarify the contradictory, confusing and irrelevant publicity- fancy culture of desperate Congress Leaders.”
Replying to a news item, NPF Press Secretary R Paphino said that it was interesting to note that the NPCC, without coming out with proven facts and evidences, has shifted their original assertion on the issue of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio’s properties and assets and now in their second assertion the Congress has switched over their stand to tones like “embezzlement of public money, rich does not give any license to siphon public development, etc.”
Paphino said the Congress needs to agree with the NPF that lots of funds are coming to Nagaland and that all of these funds are being utilized for development of the State and its people. People know that development activities have been undertaken during the last three years, the spokesperson said.
He said the Congress was finding it hard to tolerate the contributions and achievements of the DAN government “within these three years unlike their regimes” and as such they have “borne a habit of hurling baseless accusations at others sans substance.” Instead of harping on insensible political rhetoric, they (NPCC) should come out with concrete justifications and evidences, the NPF said.
