Dimapur, December 19 (MExN): NPF Minority Wing during a general meet on December 18 resolved to form a committee for Dimapur-3 Assembly constituency under Dimapur Division.
The meeting was held at Singrijan, D Khel Community Hall, Dimapur, stated a press release from NPF Minority Wing, Central General Secretary Arun Mishra.
The meeting was chaired by Apun Naben General Secretary, NPF Minority Wing Central.
The unanimous decision was also appended in the presence of NPF Minority Wing office bearers from central and Dimapur division. The list of members has been forwarded to higher officials for approval.
Bishnu Bhattacharjee, President NPF Minority Wing Central who spoke at the meet urged party men and women to work in unity with patience to enjoy the fruits of hard work. He added that the initiative of party workers’ decision to form a new committee will surely strengthen the party at grass root level.
He was accompanied by Debendra Rana, Prem Singh (GS) and Sanjay Dey working President, Minority Wing Dimapur Division.
President Minority Wing Central added that Dimapur District will have separate five AC level committee for NPF Minority Wing to strengthen five assembly constituency under the leadership of present elected NPF MLA Moatoshi Longkumar and Azheto Zhimomi in Dimapur District.
During the meeting, the house also resolved to uphold and support the leadership of party president Dr Shurhozelie Leizietsu and leader of opposition TR Zeliang.
“42 Members from different community of 22 villages under 3 Dimapur 3AC have been inducted in NPF Minority Wing and 15 members were selected to work as party representative with special assignment in remote areas, the release further stated.
