NPF Mkg resolves to find amicable solution over Indo-Naga political issue

Dimapur, January 16 (MExN): A joint meeting of the NPF Mokokchung division was held on January 14 in the divisional office complex. A central office bearer touring team led by Huska Yepthomi, vice president of NPF who is also the in charge of the division attended the meeting.
“Huska in his keynote address dwelled on the importance of discharging responsibilities by all the party workers. He had a run on the political scenario of the country as a whole and made specific comments on the prospects of the party in the state.
He also urged the party workers to send clear message to the party legislators to shoulder more responsibility for the people. His speech was laced by his trademark oration with real life stories and humors,” stated a press note issued by its president and general secretary.
At the meeting the members after thorough deliberation adopted various resolutions. It resolved to render relentless support towards finding an amicable and acceptable solution to the decades old Indo-Naga Political problem.
It decided to reiterate to repose unflinching confidence and support on the undisputed and visionary leadership of Neiphiu Rio, chief minister of Nagaland, to visit at least one important village in each of the ten ACs under the division during 2011-12 and to disseminate the significance on the changes in the nomenclature of the party
Further it also welcomed the merger of Nationalist Congress Party with NPF.
The note also stated that the meeting was also addressed by Imtiyanger, former MLA and general secretary, Kakhuto Sohe  president, NPF Youth wing and Bangtick Phom secretary. Aolepden, the president of the division, presented the welcome address wherein he outlined the activities of the party in the recent past.
