Okotso village Unit NPF working on village road improvement.
Dimapur, December 18 (MExN): In view of the fast approaching Christmas celebration expected to be attended by many Okotso villagers residing in towns, the Okotso Village Unit NPF office bearers and active members carried out a daylong work on improving the village approach road on December 16, 2011. A press note issued by L. Nchumbemo Murry, president and Nchumthung Ngully, general secretary stated that a hired mini Truck was also engaged for lifting and dumping stone chips to fill up pit holes.
A brief meeting after the tiring work resolved that the village unit shall strictly maintain discipline amongst the party workers and strive towards strengthening the party within and beyond Okotso village; affirming confidence and unflinching support to the President, Dr Shurhozelie, the Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and the DAN Government. The note further mentioned that the exercise involved only the 27 active members and village unit office Bearers to inspire hard work for better living and thanked T.L. Merry, Vice President, NPF Nagaland for his untiring support and encouragement.
