NPF open to coalition ministry in Manipur

Stating that there is likelihood of forming a new ministry of coalition government in Manipur, the Naga People’s Front (NPF) said that it “would like to participate in the formation of that new ministry.” For this purpose, the NPF coordination committee from Nagaland led by Z. Lohe and Timikha Koza had a meeting with 12 NPF candidates, NPF Manipur unit, NPF youth and NPF women wing on February 10 last at Senapati.

Sourced said that the meeting passed a resolution wherein it was decided that the task of negotiation with other political parties and its logical conclusion will be entrusted to the Chief Minister of Nagaland Neiphiu Rio and NPF President Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu. Source added that the NPF in Manipur will accept whatever political arrangement is prepared by the two top leaders (Rio and Dr. Liezietsu).
