Kohima, February 4 (MExN): The Naga People’s Front (NPF) on Tuesday extended congratulations to Yumnam Khemchand Singh on his appointment as the Chief Minister of Manipur, and to Losii Dikho and Nemcha Kipgen on their appointments as Deputy Chief Ministers.
In a press release, the party also welcomed the formation of a new government in Manipur, marking the end of nearly a year of President’s Rule in the state.
It further expressed confidence that the new government will work towards restoring peace and stability, address the ongoing ethnic situation through reconciliation, and promote inclusive and people-centric development.
The NPF also reaffirmed its commitment to extending constructive support to the BJP-led government in the larger interest of peace, progress, and prosperity for the people of Manipur.
