NPF Zunheboto division members in Satakha.
Zunheboto, March 24 (MExN): The second day of the Zunheboto Division Constituencies Tour Programme began with a reception by office bearers of 36 A/C Satakha on March 24. The meeting was held at Gen. K. Zuheto Swu Memorial Hall, Satakha.
Addressing the gathering, Khehoshe Yepthomi called upon the Satakha Town Council to work together with NPF party officials of 36 A/C for the welfare and development of the town. He said that all should remain committed to progress and work towards expansion and better development.
Kiheto Phuleshe, President of the Farmers’ Wing, stated that the people of Satakha are privileged to have a dynamic leader in G. Kaito Aye, Minister of PWD (R&B). He said that Aye is the senior-most legislator among the 60 elected members and lauded his leadership. He further called upon the people to refrain from instigating others to contest elections unnecessarily, stating that such actions only drain resources, and urged them to appreciate their leader when he works for the welfare of the community.
Hutovi Awomi, Secretary of NPF COB, said that every political party should function within a proper structure. He noted that many party leaders often raise trivial issues and urged members to remain patient, persevere, and trust their elected representatives.
Kakishe Muru, General Secretary of Zunheboto Division, encouraged party officials to be diligent, remain faithful to their representatives, and work sincerely for the welfare of the people of Satakha.
Kuhoi Zhimomi, speaking at the event, urged party officials to respect one another regardless of their positions.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by the President of 36 A/C, while the invocation was pronounced by the President of the Women’s Wing, 36 A/C. Short speeches were also delivered by representatives of various wings of Satakha.
The meeting concluded with a discussion session, followed by a vote of thanks proposed by the Vice President of NPF 36 A/C and a closing prayer.
