Dimapur, February 14 (MExN): The NPGN/NNC on Saturday expressed sorrow and deep regret over the passing of its revered and beloved Ato Kilonser, Late Shitoho Chophy, who departed from Hayat Hospital, Guwahati.
In a statement, it asserted that this loss is a heavy blow to the Naga nation, and added that it mourns the passing of a stalwart leader who dedicated his life to the noble cause of our people, stating, “Ato Kilonser Shitoho Chophi was a beacon of hope and inspiration, guiding our nation with wisdom, courage, and unwavering commitment.”
At the same time, it stated that his selfless service, unrelenting passion for the welfare of our people, and unshakeable dedication to the Naga cause will be remembered forever, adding that his leadership and vision have inspired many.
Further, it conveyed its condolences to the bereaved family, relatives, and dear ones and prays that they find strength and solace in this hour of sorrow.
