NPP Nagaland marks Advent Christmas with fellowship

KOHIMA, DECEMBER 19 (MExN): The National People’s Party (NPP), Nagaland State, organised its Advent Christmas Celebration 2025 on Friday at the residence of state treasurer Simon Yepthomi.

The programme was chaired by NPYF Nagaland State president Yabang Limchen and began with an invocation prayer led by Tsuktirenla Longkumer, state executive member of NPP Nagaland. This was followed by the singing of the hymn Joy to the World, while NPWF Nagaland State president Audrey Jamir read the Scripture.

Extending Christmas greetings to party leaders and workers, NPP Nagaland State president and MLA A. Nyamnyei Konyak underscored the values of peace, unity, humility and service inspired by the birth of Jesus Christ.

Delivering a special address on the significance of Christmas, NPP Nagaland chief spokesperson and vice-president K. James Vizo spoke on the message of hope, sacrificial love and compassion, and called upon party workers to uphold moral values while serving the people with sincerity and commitment.

A special Christmas song was presented by Heli Wotsa. The message of the day was delivered by Imnatoshi Longkumer, associate pastor, DABA, followed by a mass prayer for the State, the nation and the well-being of the people. The programme concluded with fellowship and a Christmas feast, with participation from party leaders, workers and members.
