NPP Nagaland Prez hopes ‘voters have chosen a rightful candidate’

Kohima, April 24 (MExN): NPP Nagaland State President, A Nyamnyei Konyak has congratulated all the voters of Nagaland on exercising their voting rights in the recently concluded Lok Sabha Poll, and prayed that the “voters of Nagaland have chosen a rightful candidate who will work for the welfare of Naga people irrespective of their political allegiance.”
 

In a press release, Konyak congratulated Dr Chumben Murry, PDA Candidate on the culmination of the election campaign and maintaining the decorum and dignity during his public discourse, and wished him the best for a favourable people’s verdict. Mentioning the rank and file of the State NPP party workers, he acknowledged them for tirelessly working for the candidature of Dr Chumben Murry. 
 

While thanking the NPP State Executive Members for undertaking “an intensive tour to Kohima, Wokha and Mokokchung Districts, Konyak also expressed gratitude to the State Executive members on their maiden campaign tour to Arunachal Pradesh. 
 

He acknowledged the NPP voters “who have cast their votes in favour of the consensus PDA candidate in Nagaland.” 
 

He commended Conrad Sangma, NPP National President and Chief Minister of Meghalaya for his visit to Nagaland to formalize the support of NPP to the NDA candidate Dr Chumben Murry. Konyak also thanked James Sangma, NPP National General Secretary Org for his guidance to the NPP Nagaland State Team during their visit to Arunachal Pradesh for campaigning in the State Assembly elections.
