Kohima February 15 (MExN): Assembly of God Church (AG church) Nrung- Longidand village celebrated its 50th anniversary under the theme “Let us exalt His name together” at its village from February 12 to14.
Parliamentary secretary, irrigation & Flood control, geology and mining, border affairs, Y. Patton delivered jubilee greetings on February 14. Expressing his joy for the achievement over the last fifty years, Patton said jubilee is a time to retrospect and a time to forgive one another’s wrong doing if there is any. Extending greetings to the congregation, Patton wished for peace in the village through the celebration and urged the village elders to pray for prosperity of N-Longidang’s village. “N- Longidang village is like my village, I have developed closeness towards this village”, echoed Patton and assured to be with the people anytime he is called for.
Founder assemblies of God Nagaland, Rev, Solomon H. Wasker, Mumbai was the speaker of the occasion. Significance of Jubilee was delivered by Rev. Tsopemo Ngullie, Presbyter, Wokha section. First pastor, AG church, N-Longidang, Tsenjamo Ngullie also exhorted the gatherings. The celebration also witnessed by a special number from AG Church choir Wokha town, AG Church choir Zadima and Rokovotuo, Naga idol 2007.
