Dimapur, July 8 (MExN): With a view to identify business correspondence and customer service point, representatives from The Nagaland State Co-operative Bank Ltd including B. K Thandani, managing director along with VK Disong, Nodal Officer, Micro Finance Cell held a meeting with Phom Community Development programme a development wing of Phom Baptist Church Association (PBCA) at Longleng on July 6.
The meeting had strategic discussion on development to cover whole Longleng district, where PCDP will act as service point as the bank could not establish a branch yet. As per discussion adopted the business activities which is scheduled to take off within a period of three months after Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is signed between the bank and PCDP.
Meanwhile, the executive secretary of PBCA, Y Nuklu Phom assured their best cooperation to the bank and informed that the entire operation of financial inclusion will be done in a very transparent manner where the bank, association and the ultimate beneficiaries will reap the benefit.
