Dimapur, April 16 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has grieved the untimely demise of Vepociyi Soho, Razou Peyu on April 12 after a prolonged illness.
A condolence message from the MIP, NSCN (IM) stated that he was from Kotisii village under Union Territory and was enrolled in the Naga national service on March 27, 2002. They also mourned the untimely demise of V Ahao, Office Assistant-I of the Ministry of Forest and Environment (MFE) on April 13 after a brief illness. He hailed from Kachai village under Wung Tangkhul Region (WTR). He enrolled in the Naga national service in 2004.
The MIP stated that they both served the Naga nation with unwavering patriotism until their demise. The void created by their demise is deeply felt and would be difficult to fill in. For their selfless contributions to the Naga national cause, their names shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga history and they shall be remembered for all time to come.
The NSCN (IM) has also conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members of Vepociyi Soho and V Ahao and prayed for their souls to rest in eternal peace.
