DIMAPUR, AUGUST 1 (MExN): Thuingaleng Muivah, General Secretary of the NSCN (IM), has been admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of the Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research (CIHSR), Chümoukedima.
According to sources, the 91-year-old leader was brought to the hospital on August 1 after reportedly experiencing breathing difficulties. Medical staff at CIHSR have kept him under observation, and he is currently undergoing medical examination.
Sources said Muivah is under close monitoring by doctors. No official statement has been issued by the NSCN (IM) or the hospital at the time of filing this report.
