Dimapur, April 6 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has condoled the demise of the five members on different dates and places due to illnesses. The members included Private Tharza Ningshen from Nambashi Khullen village under Wung Tangkhul Region (WTR) on March 17. He joined the Naga national service on September 27, 2021; Anovi Katty, Leacy from Atuphumi village under Ao Region on March 28. He joined the Naga national service in 2012; S Kho, Khapur from Sorbung village under Shepoumaramth Region on April 4. He joined the Naga national service in 2017; T Ashai Kom, Razou Peyu from Upper Keirap village under Komrem Region on April 5. He joined the Naga national service on October 16, 2004; Nungchim Wilfred Moyon, Leacy from New Khongjon village under Khurmi Region on April 6. He joined the Naga national service in 2002.
The NSCN (IM) in its condolence note stated that “they served the Naga nation with unwavering patriotism until their demise. The void created by their death is deeply felt and would be difficult to fill in. For their selfless contributions to the Naga national cause, their names shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga history and they shall be remembered for all time to come.”
It also conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members. “It is our prayers that the Almighty God will comfort their family members during this time of grief. We pray for their souls to rest in eternal peace,” it stated.
