Dimapur, April 2 (MExN): The NSCN (Isak-Muivah) today noted “the issue of Changki village” as sensitive and ‘unavoidable issue’ and for which a joint council meeting of the group’s steering executive and the “cabinet” was held on March 30. A note from the NSCN (IM) ‘MIP’ stated today that the meeting had “a lengthy discussion over the ‘issue of Changki village.’
The ‘MIP’ note stated – “And the concerned committee updated the house about the latest situation of the said issue and the purpose of issuing the interim ahza. Consequently, the house after having minute of discussion upheld the interim ahza issued on 19th March 2012 by the high power committee (joint council special committee) and once again endorsed the committee to continue their mission in consultation with the joint council from time to time.”
‘The issue at hand is deal by the competent authority of the concerned region and therefore, there is no question of getting approval or disapproval from any quarter,’ the note added.
