DIMAPUR, AUGUST 2 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) today clarified that its General Secretary, Th. Muivah, is in stable condition following a brief episode of mild cold and dehydration, contrary to viral reports circulating on social media. In a press release issued through the Ministry of Information and Publicity (MIP) of the NSCN (IM), it stated that, “NSCN has taken note of the viral news in social media platform about the health issues of General Secretary Th. Muivah. This is unfortunate as such unfounded news were posted without fact checking.” It informed that Muivah was admitted to the Referral Hospital after experiencing mild cold and dehydration. “There’s nothing serious as made to believe by the viral news,” it said. The statement assured that “he is doing well and will be released soon, and there is no cause for concern about his health.”
