Dimapur, September 5 (MExN): The NSCN-K (Angmai-Mulatono) has reiterated that it has not authorised any individual or entity to collect taxes within Nagaland, while alleging that certain individuals have been fraudulently collecting money under its name from businesses in and around Dimapur.
In a statement issued on September 4, the NSCN-K (Angmai-Mulatono) urged the public and business owners to verify any claims of tax collection before making payments, cautioning that those who pay such impostors do so at their own risk.
The group further issued cautioned to one Sukhai Awomi currently residing at Super Market, along with others allegedly engaged in such fraudulent activities, directing them to cease immediately or face consequences under its Yehzabo.For verification, the public has been asked to contact the NSCN-K’s Finance In-charge, Zhimoka Zhimomi.
