DIMAPUR, MAY 12 (MExN): The Ministry of Chaplee NSCN/GPRN (K) has stated that some unauthorized persons are collecting commercial tax from the business community in Dimapur area. Stating this in a press note, the NSCN (K) informed that it had not authorized collection of any commercial tax in Dimapur area and henceforth warned the business community that “those entertaining such unauthorized taxation will be doing so at their own risk for which the NSCN/GPRN shall not be held responsible”. The press note further informed that once it authorizes collection of commercial tax in Dimapur area, the same shall be notified through the newspapers.
