DIMAPUR, JULY 20 (MExN): The NSCN (K) has stated that in connection to what it described as “the capital punishment meted out to one Tohokhe, a habitual extortionist who has been carrying out nefarious activities in the name of NSCN (K) in and around Dimapur for the last several months since the split of NSCN in 2011”, it has been brought to their notice that certain individuals are “trying effortlessly to hold particular NSCN worker responsible for the action”. “It may therefore be relayed that Tohokhe has been punished as per the official commitment of the NSCN to curb such anti-people and anti-national activities misusing NSCN’s platform, the same decision was published in every leading local dailies”, stated a press note from the NSCN (K). It further informed that, the “punishment has no connection to any factional feuds at all” and “therefore any person/group trying to misinterpret the judgement shall be inviting wrath of NSCN”, it stated.
