DIMAPUR, JUNE 1 (MExN): Lt. Gen. Khango, Vice President NSCN Khaplang has through the MIP issued a statement pointing out that his “old Comrade Gen. Khole Konyak” who was highly respected had vanished “unceremoniously at the instigation of Mr. Kitovi Zhimomi the former Ato Kilonser of NSCN under SS Khaplang leadership who came and declared during Konyak region meeting on 18th January 2011 that the question of general Naga sovereignty does not arise and neither Khaplang nor Muivah could say or project anything for Naga sovereignty except his group (GPRN/NSCN) who will bring solution for the Nagas of Nagaland within the frame work of his pay master Indians and its constitution”.
According to the MIP note this statement was made even as Gen. Khole, who had sacrificed more than 50 yrs of his life, had celebrated his golden jubilee in service for the Nagas struggle for sovereignty only “to throw away his much adored crown in the dustbin right after celebration of 50 yrs (golden jubilee) by his defection to Kitovi’s group”.
“Hence, don’t sow the seed of confusion before younger generation for whether you like it or not the younger generation knows better than you and can even do better in achieving the target hence, don’t interfere with the Naga issue and leave it to the younger generations for you have abandoned the Naga cause for luxury thereby, denying yourself any say in the Naga National issue as such you have no right to say anything excepting for your Nagas of Nagaland State as claimed by Kitovi time and again in collaboration with his Indian master especially the so called Joint Secretary Ministry Home Affairs North East Incharge, Government of India Shambhu Singh”.
