DImapur, October 24 (MExN): The NSCN (K) has informed that the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) has submitted a copy of the letter written by its Chairman SS Khaplang to the FNR Convenor dated August 21, 2011. The document was submitted today October 24, 2012 and received by the MIP Secretary. This is as per the NSCN (K) statement on October 22, 2012 asking the FNR to produce documents within five days time on the matter. A press note from MIP Secretary Sangso Mongzar Naga has acknowledged the gesture of the FNR and thanked them for their cooperation. Meanwhile it stated that the content of the letter will be discussed with its Chairman and senior officials after which clarification will be issued if needed.
Meanwhile in relation to the news report published on October 23, 2012 issue of the local dailies asking the FNR to produce documents, the FNR in a separate press note stated that it had submitted the same to the MIP, NSCN (Khaplang) and that it was “publishing the full text of His Excellency, The Chairman”.
