NSCN Khaplang refutes GPRN/NSCN statement

DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 18 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN Khaplang has strongly refuted the statement of the so-called MIP that NSCN cadres attacked the residence of one Maj. Noktha at Shangnyu village on 16th September last in which one of their cadre was reportedly injured. “The so-called MIP of GPRN is asked to inquire from their so-called commander as to who is responsible for attacking him and his boys”, stated a press note issued by the MIP.

The NSCN (K) stated that it was a responsible and matured revolutionary organization hence, “it is not that dirty enough to involve in such cheap attempts as U boys thinks of further advises the so-called MIP of GPRN to properly inquire into the details before making any statement pointing a accusing finger at anyone in order to gain cheap publicity”.

Further, the NSCN (K) requested ENPO to inquire into the incident and “make known to everyone as to who are violating the 18th December 2007 resolution and also cleared the NSCN name before the entire Nagas”.

The NSCN (K) also wanted to know from the GOI what “those (U) cadres were doing in the Shangnyu village despite fully knowing that they have no designated camp in the area?” “These cadres are moving with arms right in the nose of the security forces but simply watching without bothering to contain them or applying the Cease Fire Ground Rules (CFGR) but using another yardstick to NSCN cadres?”
