DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 13 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN has extended Christmas and New Year greetings to every Naga “at home and across the world.”
In a greetings message issued by Cabinet Secretary Repento Ayemi from the Central Secretariat, it said, “May this season of light fill homes and families with joy, healing and renewed hope.”
The message stated that Christmas reminds people that “true strength is found not in conflict, but in compassion, not in division but in unity.” It called upon the people to “walk the path of understanding, forgiveness, courage and values that have kept our people resilient through generations.”
As the world looks towards the New Year, the NSCN/GPRN urged the people to “carry forward the spirit of harmony and responsibilities.” It added, “May we continue to preserve our rich heritage, strengthen our bonds as one people and strive for a future where peace and dignity flourish in every village, every home and every heart.”
The message further said, “Let the coming year be a time of reflection, progress and collective determination.” It concluded by expressing the hope that “our youth find direction, our elders find honour, and our land finds lasting peace.”
