NSCN/GPRN (Khango) questions MSE-CDP scheme implementation

DIMAPUR, JANUARY 20 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN (Khango-Hokato Vusshe) has issued a caution to Aolemba Longkumer and other stakeholders involved in the implementation of the MSE-CDP scheme under the Ministry of MSME, Government of India. In a statement today, the group raised concerns about the project's progress and called for transparency in its execution.

The group questioned the time frame for completing the scheme, highlighting the prolonged delay despite the issuance of the work order. It demanded that Longkumer “justify” the timeline and provide cash vouchers or invoices for purchased machinery.

Referring to allegations of financial irregularities, the NSCN/GPRN (Khango) claimed that Longkumer had denied involvement in the scheme through media channels but pointed out his signature on a sanctioned amount receipt. “If he is not involved, why did he personally sign on the sanctioned amount received slip?” the statement queried.

The group further urged the concerned department to release official details of both civil works and technical machinery associated with the scheme. It reaffirmed its earlier warnings, emphasizing that contractors and suppliers must adhere strictly to the Detailed Project Report (DPR) and work orders.

“The NSCN will leave no stone unturned if the concerned individual and the department fails to furnish the details of this scheme,” it added.
