Dimapur, February 12 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN (R) Akato through its MIP has expressed pain and sorrow at the demise of Kilonser L Honito Swu, the Ato Kukau (Hd GB) of Lotovi village on Febraury 11.
An update from the MIP stated that the voluntary and selfless National service rendered by the late leader is highly acknowledged, adding that he will remain appreciated by all ranks and files as a formidable comrade.
It described him as a leader who left his “simple and honest” legacy behind, with an indefatigable 'Nationalist' for all his compatriots to cherish on.
At the same time, the MIP maintained that he also left behind his indelible trails as the defender and custodian of traditional values, a village pioneer, a frontrunner, a public leader and a social reformer.
It invoked God's grace to rest his soul in eternal peace and prays that the good Lord provide solace to his family members and friends during their time of grief.
