Dimapur, September 10 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN-R (Akato) has terminated Maj Chomangli Mongzar, alias Aliba, from its service, citing repeated “unlawful activities detrimental to the principles of the NSCN” despite several warnings. A termination order signed by Maj Gen Howoto Yeptho, Commander-in-Chief of the Naga Army, stated that the decision would come into immediate effect.
Mongzar, identified in the order as NA No. 30230 and son of Hopongse of Sangsomong village, has also been warned against interfering in the affairs of the NSCN. The group further cautioned the public “not to entertain him,” stating that he is “no longer associated with us anymore.” The order was issued by the Ministry of Information & Publicity (MIP), NSCN/GPRN-R (Akato).
