NSCN/GPRN rubbishes allegations

The NSCN Strongly reacts and resents to the false allegations against it from different agencies as published through some Indian National papers, as well as local papers, specially from Assam and Arunachal Pradesh on 21.8.2010 dragging the name of the NSCN into different conflicts, armed confrontations and also anti-social activities. The NSCN is a responsible Organization, having its own government and system. Therefore, such false allegations against it is hypocritic and ridiculous, and it damnably rubbishes such irresponsible acts of those inimical forces towards it.

There are countless insurgent groups in the North-East India due to the all-round mismanagement of the people in authority for decades together. Therefore, blaming the NSCN for any incident anywhere is being prompted by sheer jealousies. Such acts are deliberate insinuations of the NSCN, but the NSCN is not deterred in its march towards its goal.

The troubles or disturbances at the Assam-Arunachal Pradesh are the result of border disputes between the two States, the major part being played by Assam which has colonialist and expansionist agenda as taught by once-master, the British. The NSCN has practically no hand in such activities. Assam has border disputes with all its neighbouring states which is a matter of great concern.

Firing incidents and armed confrontations in Arunachal Pradesh are the result of massive military build-up in the state by the Indian Government in the fear of Chinese Army and Burmese insurgents. So why the NSCN be dragged into such a mess?

On 20th August, 2010 there was fighting between Assam Police and 11th Gurkha Regt. at Kumkuh area and whether the fighting was deliberate or misidentification is the concerned of the parties involved. So, don’t put any blame on the NSCN for anything happened in Arunachal Pradesh or anywhere else. The ongoing joint operations against the NSCN by the Indian Armed in Assam is a responsibility and concern of the Indian Government which is a party to the Cease-fire agreement of 1997.
