Dimapur, December 17 (MexN): The NSCN/GPRN today held a felicitation ceremony at Council Headquarters, Hebron to cordially welcome the homecoming of 20 (twenty) Home comers from NSCN (K). In a statement released to the media, the NSCN/GPRN commended “their timely realization and right decision for dedicating their services for the cause of the nation by ultimately choosing the mainstream, which is the right and noble path for realization of the Nagas’ political aspiration under the leadership of Isak Chishi Swu and Th. Muivah.” The NSCN/GPRN expressed its hopes that their home coming into the main stream would boost the long standing Naga National struggle for self-determination. The NSCN/GPRN ‘Kilo Kilonser,’ Rh. Raising on behalf of the congregation extended a hearty welcome to them. He also exhorted them on the truth and challenges of the Naga Nationalism under the vanguard of the NSCN/GPRN.
In the press statement it said that the home-comers on their turn briefed the house of their experiences and observations of the outfits which they formerly served. SK. Peter (Art & Culture Kilonser) said, “We have been in the (K) group but there is no future in it, we are just spending time without any political vision. God has shown us a way in joining the main stream. We took this step because we want peace & reconciliation among the Naga brothers. No other party does not involve in political dialogue with the GOI except NSCN/GPRN. That is why we came to join the mainstream under the distinguished and able leadership of Isak and Muivah.
