NSF, ASU informs

Kohima, December 21 (MExN): The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) notified all concerned that the federation office shall remain closed with effect from December 20 in observance of the sacred Christmas celebrations and the ensuing New Year festivities.

The office shall resume its normal operations on 5th January 2026, following the conclusion of the holiday recess. This period of closure is observed not only as a time of festivity but also as a moment for reflection, thanksgiving, and spiritual renewal, NSF stated.

The Federation conveyed its warmest Christmas greetings and heartfelt New Year wishes to all Naga communities, well-wishers, and stakeholders.

“May this blessed season usher in peace, unity, renewed purpose, and divine abundance, strengthening the bonds of harmony and collective responsibility among our people,” the NSF stated.

While the Federation Office shall remain temporarily closed, it is hereby informed that any urgent matters, grievances, or issues of critical importance may be communicated to the Naga Students’ Federation Grievance Cell, which shall remain accessible to ensure that essential concerns are addressed in a timely and responsible manner.

Meanwhile, NSF expressed its sincere gratitude for the continued trust, solidarity, and unwavering support extended to the Federation throughout the year.

ASU: The Angami Students' Union (ASU) informed the general public that, in view of the ensuing festive season, the ASU office shall remain closed from December 21 to January 12.

During this period, all routine office activities and official engagements shall remain temporarily suspended and shall resume upon the reopening of the office on the said date, ASU stated.

“However, it is reiterated that notwithstanding the temporary closure, the Angami Students' Union remains ever committed to its principles and responsibilities and the Office shall at all times stand ready to uphold the integrity, Welfare and interests of the student community whenever the need so arises,” the Union stated.

The ASU sought the understanding and cooperation of all concerned.
