NSF gears up for 24th general conference

Preparations underway for the forthcoming 24th general conference of the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) scheduled at Pfutsero in Phek district. The conference will be hosted by Chakhesang Students’ Union from April 27 to 29 under the theme “Reaching Out.”

Massive preparation is on for the forthcoming its 24th general conference of the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) scheduled at Pfutsero in Phek district. The conference will be hosted by Chakhesang Students’ Union from April 27 to 29 under the theme “Reaching Out.”
Former chief minister of Mizoram, Zoramthanga will grace the conference as the chief guest while other special guests include Rajya Sabha MP Biswajit Daimary, minister for road & bridges G. Kaito Aye, minister for health & family welfare Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu, Chief Secretary Lalthara and Dr. Samujjal Bhattacharjee, chairman North East Students’ Organization.
D.K.Zeliang (Rtd) IFS, former PCCF Nagaland will be the resource person at the interactive session while Akum Longchari, Managing Director, The Morung Express will be the moderator. FNR convenor Rev. Dr. Wati Aier will also deliver short speech at the inaugural function ion April 28. Keviletuo Kiewhuo, president Naga Hoho will exhort the gathering during cultural regale. The cultural regale will also witness presentation from ENSF, ENSA, Wancho, Nocte, Tangsa.
The three day long conference will be marked by interactive session, debate, federal assembly classical piece & quartet ensemble, cultural regale, election. Meanwhile, the NSF invites 110 delegates each from all the federating units and 50 delegates from all the subordinate bodies.
