NSF informs units & RC’s on SSA, NSACS project

Dimapur, March 31 (MExN): The Naga Students Federation (NSF) has informed all federating units and selected Regional Coordinators that the proposed project on intensive enrollment drive for elementary education and involvement of youths in combating HIV/AIDS will be formally launched on April 11 at Kohima. This follows the agreement reached between the NSF, the SSA and the Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS), informed Chairman, NSF Project Core Committee, Sashimar Jamir.

According to an official circular received from the NSF office the launching program will be followed by a two-day training for the regional coordinators on April 11 and the 12th. All Regional Coordinators were informed to report to the NSF office by noon on April 10 for signing an undertaking, committing each to task till completion.

The Core Committee intimated every Regional Coordinator to come prepared with the list of villages under their respective regions to be submitted on their arrival while all the presidents and education secretaries of the federating units were informed to attend the launching programme compulsorily.

While the Core Committee of the NSF would be serving a circular to all concerned units and individuals to this effect, the vagaries of communication systems and paucity of time may hinder the dispatching process, it was stated. Therefore, all units and Regional coordinators have been asked to deem this circular as the official one.
