Chümoukedima, October 29 (MExN): On Day II of the ongoing 69th National School Games (NSG) 2025 Taekwondo Championship (Boys under-14), Nagaland’s Shiuthong clinched the gold medal in the Under-32 kg category at the K Kire Badminton Stadium, Nagaland Police Complex, Chümoukedima.
Akhil Yadav of Jharkhand secured the silver medal, while Mohammad Abdul Mugisith from Telangana and Yash Prajapati from Uttar Pradesh bagged the bronze medals.
In the Under-23 kg category, Rudra Patel from Madhya Pradesh won gold, Aryan Singh of Uttarakhand took silver, and the bronze medals went to Varun Abhishek D from Tamil Nadu and Arman Ahemed Salim Ahemed from Maharashtra.
The championship is being organised by the Nagaland state government under the aegis of the School Games Federation of India featuring competitors from 35 states and various school boards. The three-day event will conclude on October 30.
