NSU in Burma statement in support of Reconciliation

Naga Student in Burma (Myanmar) absolutely affirms their support to the Nagas Reconciliation which is a journey of every Naga to common hope.  From July 27-29, 2011 at a neutral venue, the forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) and public and church leaders representing the common aspirations of the Nagas in Burma hold three-day meeting, which adopted eight points.  That is very essential and another tremendous step toward reconciliation.  NSU strongly believes that repairing the broken relationships and building bridges between the differences both over ground and underground is what we must do on this critical time because a common of Nagas hope will never come into being without reconciliation.  Hence, at any cause and condition NSU fully support to Naga Reconciliation.
Further, NSU extended it heartiest congratulations to Rev. Dr. Wati Aier, Convener of Forum for Naga Reconciliation, being on his winning ‘ The Baptist World Alliance 2011 Denton and Janice Lotz Human Rights Award on July 9th 2011 at Kuala Lampur, Malaysia.  NSU stated that Dr. Wati Aier who has been sacrificially involving in Mission and Social Change, has lifted up Naga  integrity on the highest level and give never dying challenge to the Naga new generations.  NSU wishes and pray that he and his co-workers may continue to bring a complete reconciliation and set up lasting peace in the near future.
