NTWTA conducts 1st Futsal Championship Challenge 2024

KOHIMA, APRIL 28 (MExN): The Nagaland Two Wheeler Taxi Association has conducted its 1st Futsal Championship Challenge 2024 on April 27 under the theme “Stronger Together” at Pro Turf Sevens, Perizie, Kohima.

Kohima District Football Association President, M Matthew Yhome graced the inaugural ceremony.

He highlighted the pressing need for a revamp in our approach to organizing sports events.

Yhome stressed the importance of enhancing the way we support and treat the players to elevate the overall sports experience.

Keneisalie Belho, President NTWTA emphasized that these events not only serve as a brief respite for the drivers but also provide them with the opportunity to engage in physical exercise, contributing to their overall health and well-being.

Maidan FC emerged as the champion. The 1st Runner-up went to Special-7, 2nd Runner-up - Riders Roster, 3rd Rider Roster and 4th Position - Shaolin Soccer.

The player of the tournament was accorded to Haiso from Maidan FC and best goalkeeper - Kesinlo Khing from Special 7 team. Earlier, Ngusalie Kire, Secretary Organizing Committee administered oath to the participating teams.

The program was chaired by Thejavizo Solo, treasurer NTWTA.
