Nagaland University, School of Agricultural Sciences organised walkathon to mark Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan on August 28.
Medziphema, August 29 (MExN): As a part of the observance of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, Nagaland University, School of Agricultural Sciences, Medziphema campus conducted poster and slogan campaigns and walkathon for its second phase on August 28.
A programme was held outside the administrative building, SAS, Medziphema campus, where a short speech was delivered by Prof L Daiho, Dean, NU: SAS.
Prof J Longkumer, Associate Dean, SAS, Medziphema Campus announced the winners for inter-hostel poster and slogan competition. An exhortation & flag off of the programme was delivered and conducted by Prof Dipak Sinha, Pro Vice Chancellor, NU: SAS.
The walkathon started from the Administration block- Zero point- Genetic and Plant breeding Department - Agronomy Department – Rural Development Department - Lecture theatres- Horticulture Department, Livestock production and management Department and Argil.
