Dimapur, December 22 (MExN): On the recommendation of the Police Establishment Board, the Government of Nagaland has appointed O Alem, IPS (NL-1979), presently holding the post of Director General Prisons/ Home Guards and CD to the post of Director General of Police with effect from January 1, 2012. Further, O Alem will continue to hold the additional charge of Director General Prisons/ Home Guards and CD till further orders, Chief Secretary Lalthara, IAS informed in a press release.
