Chairmen Union of Peren rejects
Dimapur, July 24 (MExN):Chairmen Union of Peren district have rejected the department of School Education’s reinstatement of schoolteachers, calling it a “nightmare.” The union met in an emergency meeting on July 23 in Jalukie town and decided to strongly oppose ‘such unbecoming order’ and “night mare”. The union objected to the department’s order which is a “the top-down approach without the will and desire of the local concerned people.” A note from the union was received here today appended by Miucham, publicity secretary. Stating that there is no logic of such appointments when the district itself has enough qualified candidates, the union directed all VEC not to ‘entertain such unwanted order which is depriving the very right and will of the citizen.’
