The press statement of Kejanglwa, purportedly published by so called Kejanglwa village council Chairman, Shri Ngaulu, Head G.B, Shri. Hubagwang and Youth President, Shri. Hiareu made on 15th & 17th July 2012 with a caption “Kejanglwa village rejoinder to Old Jalukie in some local dailies was nothing but simply a desperate cry, out of the whole episode. Immature provocations and offensive languages used by such respectable and responsible leaders are unfounded and uncalled for in a present decent society.
If boundary is your doubt and concern, The ancestral practice of demarcating the boundary system is through land mark vis-à-vis stream, river, range, valley, etc. as such, The Kejanglwa and portion of District Head Quarter is bounded with Peren from Mungleu River, Tepaki river, Rebane-ngo, Buizaireu river, Techauki river and then to the Mungleu river.
Whether Shri. Ngaulu, Shri. Hubagwang and Shri. Hiareu like it or not, as it is clearly demarcated in the Survey of India Map 1921-23, it cannot be altered by any person(s), neither by threatening nor by pressure.
Earlier, court litigation of the honorable High Court vide Judgment order No. 3(K) 75 dated 06/08/90 and affirmed by the honourable Supreme Court of India vide order No. 9183 dated 04/10/82, had basing on the evidence have declared once and for all that Old Jalukie is the absolute land owner of Kejanglwa, however, on humanitarian ground the present Kejanglwa occupants were allowed to settle with an agreement to acknowledge the land owner (Old Jalukie) by paying Rs. 100/-(Rupees One Hundred only) as Lunget annually (Yearly land Rent) vide Judgment and Order dated 07/11/1990 passed in reference case No. 1 of 1983 by the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Peren.
The Old Jalukie Village Council have the right to take its own course of action deem fit and proper for any defaulters within its Jurisdiction, but respecting the honorable High Court verdict in relation to the establishment of New Peren district Head quarter, we are forbearing all the consequences on legal point of view.
Hence the OJVC and the Jalukie Pumling Nko warns all concerns not to buy or sell any land within its Jurisdiction without the prior permission and approval from the authority of the land owner. Person(s) in question therefore, shall bear own risk.
