Kohima, June 24 (MExN): An active cadre of NSCN (IM) was arrested during a joint operation by Security Forces and police 'based on a specific input' in general area of Burma Camp, Dimapur on June 22, an official release informed today. The cadre was involved in “supplying arms and ammunition” and a “one point 22 Pistol and three rounds of live ammunition” were recovered from him, stated the release from the PRO (Def) Kohima, Lt Col Sumit K Sharma.
Along with the recovered items, the cadre was handed over to East Police Station, Dimapur for further investigation, it added.
