Kohima, September 4 (MExN): The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima will be launching a special initiative, "One Day with Deputy Commissioner" on the occasion of Teachers' Day on September 5.
This initiative has been designed to motivate, build confidence and provide valuable exposure to five meritorious and interested students from both private and government schools within Kohima district.
This initiative aims to offer firsthand experience of the functioning of the District Administration, expose them to the system of governance at the district level and inspire them toward careers in public service.
The students will be given opportunity to interact directly with the Deputy Commissioner and other administrative officials.
In term of modalities, 5 meritorious and interested students shall be nominated by respective schools through the office of District Education Officer, Kohima. This session shall be held once every two weeks.
